Jarrah (Eucalyptus marginata)
Jarrah remains one of the world’s most desirable and sought after hardwoods due to its interesting grain and beautiful rich colours that range from salmon pink to dark brown.
The tree grows to a majestic 40 metres in height only in the south west corner of Western Australia.
About This Design
I have cut the timber blank with random curved lines and glued in thin strips of Oak. There are a total of four cuts and glue-ups involved in this process.
