Jarrah is one of Australia's most iconic timbers and its rich colours work beautifully with the gold in this design. The 'Executive' in Jarrah is our best seller.
Tasmania's Huon Pine is one of the slowest-growing and longest living plants in the world. It can grow to an age of 3,000 years or more. The tree is wholly protected.
Whilst it cannot be felled, wood on the forest floor and even under water (it is highly rot resitant) remains usable and is highly prized.
This Bottlebrush timber came from my own garden and while a rich red colour when first cut has dried to the nice caramel colour seen here.
A funny name but a great timber. The common name comes from the scent of the freshly cut timber. A hard rot resistant wood that was widely used for fence posts.
This piece of Raspberry Jam (Acacia acuminata) is highly figured and looks more like burl than standard timber. A special one-off for a special gift.
York Gum is a small tree or mallee and is widespread in the Wheatbelt and Goldfields areas of WA. It is a hard, tough timber popular in craft work.
A very attractive paler timber with some nice shimmering figure in it. A fast growing tree that is one of the most commonly cultivated eucalypts in the world.
A very attractive and eye-catching pen in a fluro green resin with black swirls. The "Executive is supplied with an easily replaced Parker® type refill.
A very unique ballpoint pen in Jarrah which I have segmented with swirling lines of Oak. These pens make great gifts that will always be appreciated.

Segmented in quarters along its length using Jarrah and Bluegum. This version features two tone chrome on the metal components.
Coloured dark red to brown with prominent medullary rays. In the early days of settlement Sheoak was used for items such as beer barrels and roof shingles.
WA Sheoak (Allocasuarina fraseriana) Is now widely used for decorative woodwork, turnery and flooring. Exclusive to Western Australia in limited quantities.
Similar to the 'Executive' design, the "Sierra' features a more traditionally style of rounded end finial as well as a different clip and centreband.
This is a very nicely coloured and patterned resin that features shades of brown and cream in streaks through the length of the pen body.
Pens make a perfect and functional gift. Easy to travel with, or post, a pen provides a daily reminder of the occasion or person from which it originated.
The 'Cigar' ballpoint is a larger two barrel pen that has a very attractive and rugged look to it. It is supplied with, and uses, a Parker® style refill.
This is one of several resins that I imported from the UK. It is a very attractive colour and has a nice subtle pattern of white streaks through it.
Another resin from the UK, 'Faux Horn' is intended to replicate the colours and patterns of animal horn. This resin works particularly well with the Gold components.
On the lower barrel of this pen I have used thin pieces of Oak veneer to form angled rings that cross over each other to form an attractive pattern.
This really is a very good looking pen. The olive wood came from the pruning of large trees locally and the luxurious gold and chrome fittings suit it perfectly.
'Wenge' (pronounced When-Ghay) is a dark brown African timber with darker almost black lines. Used for furniture, turned objects, and musical instruments.
Introduced from Asia around the 1850’s, this timber is extremely popular in craft work due to its beautiful colour, figure and aromatic nature.
This example of the Polaris and Camphor Laurel pen features satin finish to the chrome components. This pen too uses a Parker® style refill.
