A beautiful box handmade in Western Australia by Chris Busby. The box features a beautiful top of veneered cheese Tree timber (Glochidion ferdinandi) which is bordered by an attractive inlay. The specialist box hinges hold the lid open at just over 90 degrees.
The body of the box and the tray are in Victorian Ash timber. The inlay surrounding the Cheese Tree timber panel was created by myself and so is quite unique. It was made using Blue Gum and Queensland Walnut.
The inner base, tray and inside lid area is lined with quality suede fabric in a chocolate colour. The tray is divided into four sections, The lower section is divided into two longer sections.
Its dimensions are 320 mm x 190 mm x 118 mm high. The box pictured is the one being purchased.
