A lovely box to suit any number of storage requirements. It would be equally at home on a desk, a hall table or dresser top.
Timbers used are Victorian Ash (Eucalyptus delegatensis) with a lid panel of Tasmanian Myrtle (Nothofagus cunninghamii).
Victorian ash is the trade name for two of the tallest hardwood species in the world, ie. alpine ash and mountain ash. The lid panel of Tasmanian Myrtle has a wavy feature that brings the surface alive with its texture and sheen.
The inner base is lined with upholstery fabric and the specialist box hinges hold the lid open at a little over 90 degrees.
Its measurements are 250 mm long x 150 mm wide and is 70 mm high.
