Large Jarrah and Victorian Ash Box

A beautiful box handmade in Western Australia by Chris Busby. The box body has Jarrah used for the front and back together with Victorian Ash sides. The lid features a parquetry design in two eucalyptus species that contrast beautifully with each other.
The inner lid is a veneered panel of dark Jarrah. The box also features decorative corner keys in Jarrah which work to connect the contrasting Jarrah and Victorian Ash timbers. The specialist box hinges hold the lid open at just over 90 degrees.
The inner base and tray is lined with "Dusty Pink" upholstery fabric. The tray is divided into two long sections. The lower section is divided into four sections.
Its dimensions are 300 mm x 185 mm x 105 mm high. The box pictured is the one being purchased.
