Another beautiful box handcrafted in Western Australia by Chris Busby. The box features a nicely figured panel in the lid that contrasts nicely with the rest of the box.
The lid is hinged such that it stops at just over 90 degrees.
The box inner base and tray is lined with hard-wearing faux suede in 'stone' colour. The tray is divided into four sections. The lower section features a single large space. Equally suited to a man or woman for storing any number of different items.
Its dimensions are 295 mm x 175 mm x 115 mm high. The mitre-jointed corners of the box feature decorative keys which also provide additional strength.
With its beautiful rich colours interesting grain and occasional gum veins, Jarrah (Eucalyptus marginata) remains one of the world’s most desirable and sought after hardwoods. The tree grows to a majestic 40 metres in height only in the south west corner of Western Australia.
