Tasmanian Blue Gum is a tall, straight tree growing up to 70 metres tall and 2 metres in diameter.
The timber was popular with early European settlers because of its toughness and durability and was widely used for bridge construction and wharf pilings. Increasing in popularity for flooring, panelling and craft work.
The 'El Grande' is a larger pen surprisingly light in weight for its size. Quite traditional in appearance, the black polyethylene and Gold Titanium components are very complementary to each other.
While the cap can be press fit 'posted', I do not recommend it as the end cap will eventually be marred.
