Very Functional Box in Jarrah and Cherry
Item # CB146
Handmade in Western Australia by Chris Busby. The box features very attractively figured paler Jarrah front and back sections with darker Jarrah ends that are equally attractive and nicely figured.
The lid is in American Cherry which is a nicely coloured shimmering timber and features an inlay of four squares in Australian Oak and Queensland Walnut.
The box inner base and tray is lined with lovely hard-wearing faux suede in 'stone' colour. The lid is hinged such that it stops at just over 90 degrees. Its dimensions are 310 mm x 185 mm x 120 mm high

Jarrah (Eucalyptus marginata)
With its beautiful rich colours that range from salmon pink all the way through to dark brown, Jarrah remains one of the world’s most desirable and sought after hardwoods.
The tree grows to a majestic 40 metres in height only in the south west corner of Western Australia.
