Keepsake Box in West Australian Blackbutt with Walnut

A non-standard sized trinket/keepsake box in West Australian Blackbutt Timber (Eucalyptus patens) with a lid panel of Walnut veneer.

The size of the box was basically dictated by the piece of very beautifully figured Walnut that I had on hand. The short sides of the box also feature Walnut Veneer.

The inner bases of the box is lined with quality upholstery grade fabric.

The specialist box hinges hold the lid open at a little over 90 degrees to obviate the need for intrusive lid stays.

The box measures 300x110 millimetres and is 90 millimetres in height.

The box pictured is the actual box being purchased.
