Bottlebrush (Callistemon sp)
This timber was obtained from my own garden and proved to be a dense and heavy timber that, when first cut, was a wonderful dark red colour. As it dried, however, the timber changed to the brown colour seen here.
When dried the timber is an attractive caramel colour and has an interesting grain.
About This Design
The 'Executive' model is a very well sized and balanced pen that is equally suited to both men and women.
It uses a simple twist mechanism and presents beautifully in its faux leather case and is very popular with the business, educational and governmental sectors as corporate type gifts.
